I am Brazilian. Brazil is the largest country in both South America and Latin America. With over 208 million people. Brazil is the world’s fifth-largest country by area and the sixth most populous. Its capital is Brasilia, I was born and raised there. Brazil is composed of the union of the 27 states. It is the largest country to have Portuguese as an official language and the only one in the Americas it is also one of the most multicultural and ethnically diverse nations, due to over a century of mass immigration from around the world.

My career

I’m an executive in Human Resources with a wide experience in People Management; experience acquired in more than 18 years in medium and large projects, including startups in industries, energy sector and service companies. As a highlight of my profile, I point out the Human Resources management I was responsible for the implementation of the largest and most efficient natural gas thermoelectric plant in Latin America: Porto Sergipe I TPP. Additionally, I was responsible for the implementation, coordination and management of Belo Monte Hydroelectric Power Plant, the largest construction project in the country and the 3rd largest Hydroelectric Power plant in the world.

Why am I chose NY?

After more than 20 years working with Human Resources Management in Brazil, on large companies, working in large scale projects including start-ups in industry and electricity providers, participating and coordinating large events at the country, such as former President Dilma’s visit to launch the plant’s first turbine. I decided to expend my career using my knowledge in Labors Law and expertise with projects of infrastructure, finally spend my time improvement my English skills to do a Master Business Administration in Human Resources International Labors Law in United States. The best place to learn and improve my knowledge about International Labors Law is in New York, headquarter of The United Nations. International labour law is the body of rules spanning which concern the rights and duties of employees, employers, governments in regulating the workplace. The International Labour Organization have been the main international bodies involved in reforming labour markets.
